How Spray Foam Insulation Grand Junction Works

We insulate homes, garages, shops and barns across the Grand Valley and the mesas around it. That covers open-cell and closed-cell spray foam, attic air sealing, blown-in cellulose and fiberglass for attics and walls, crawl space and rim joist insulation, and removal of old insulation that is packed down, dusty or contaminated by rodents.

Every job starts with a visit. Grand Junction houses run from small older homes near downtown and 1950s to 1980s ranches and split-levels on crawl spaces to new two-story homes in Redlands and Fruita, plus cabins and ranch houses at higher elevation on Glade Park and Grand Mesa. We go into the attic and the crawl space, measure what is there, find the air leaks and check the ducts, and look at the rim joists, which are one of the leakiest spots in a cold-climate house.

Then we write the quote. Each area is a line item with the material, the depth or thickness, the target R-value and the price. If blown-in or plain air sealing would get you most of the benefit for less than foam, it goes on the quote too.

How we work

  • Look before pricing. No phone quotes.
  • Seal first. Air leaks get closed before insulation goes on, because in a cold, windy winter that is where heat escapes.
  • Written line items. Material, thickness, R-value and price for each area.
  • Protected house. Floors covered, spray areas sealed off, mess cleaned up.
  • Curing planned. Foam jobs are scheduled for when the house can be empty.
  • Changes in writing. Anything new gets agreed before we do it.
